Utility Billing

The City of Ovid bills on a monthly basis.  Water bills are due the 20th of each month by 5 pm (or the following business day if on a weekend or holiday).  Bills can be paid by check, cash, money order or credit card.  Bills paid by credit card are subject to a fee of 3% with a $2 minimum charged by the processor.  Bills can be paid by mail, over the phone, online, in person, or left in the drop box on the office door.  A 10% late fee will be added to all bills not paid by the due date.

The City of Ovid requires deposits to be held on all utility accounts.  The deposit fee is as follows:

• Homeowner - $75
• Renter - $100
• Non City Residents - $140
